By accessing or using Wakebell ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Wakebell is a job search companion application that helps users build consistent job search habits through commitment tracking, opportunity management, progress visualization, and AI-powered resume enhancement features.

3. User Accounts

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
  • You may not share your account with others or create multiple accounts
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Violate any laws in your jurisdiction
  • Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
  • Scrape, harvest, or collect user data without permission
  • Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited communications
  • Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation

5. User Content

You retain ownership of content you upload to the Service, including resumes, notes, and job opportunity information. By uploading content, you grant us a license to use, store, and process that content solely to provide and improve the Service.

You are solely responsible for the content you upload and represent that you have the right to share such content.

6. AI Features

Our AI-powered features (such as resume enhancement) are provided as tools to assist you. You are responsible for reviewing and approving any AI-generated suggestions before using them. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated content for any particular purpose.

7. Third-Party Integrations

The Service may integrate with third-party services (such as Google Calendar). Your use of these integrations is subject to the terms and policies of those third parties. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of third-party services.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and content (excluding user content), is owned by Wakebell and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express permission.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

Wakebell is a productivity tool and does not guarantee employment outcomes. Your job search success depends on many factors beyond our Service.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WAKEBELL SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Wakebell and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. You may also delete your account at any time.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated Terms and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Wakebell operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
